Litsa Kiousi

Litsa was born in Athens in 1977. She studied at D.Grigoriadou Prof. Dance School (GR), Movement Research and, as a scholarship student, at the Merce Cunningham Studio (NY).

She has performed in Europe, USA and Asia with Cosmin Manolescu (RO,) Radical Low/Chantal Yzermans (B), Unit Control/Bernard Baumgarten (LU), Sven Seeger (GER) a.o.

In 2008, in collaboration with the actor Marco Wittorf and the musician /composer Sebastian Hilken, she created the dance-concert Dream Inspector and the solo watching alice with which she has been performing in clubs, galleries and theatres in Athens, Kassel, Berlin , Leipzig, Essen and Dortmund.

In 2010 and with the same constellation, she created Where is the most beautiful Funeral?.

The same year she presented the improvised act Visiting Time I in Eira33 in Lissabon.

She has also created As they quietly shout (2009) and Scratch from the inside (2010) for the graduate students of Tanzakademie Balance1 which were performed in Kunsthaus Tacheles in Berlin.

Since 2003, Litsa lives in Berlin.

Marco Wittorf

After receiving his BA in Social Studies from FH Düsseldorf Marco packed his things and went to acting school in Berlin, which he completed in 2003. The first two years of his career brought him to Freiberg theatre, where he performed many main and supporting roles in 14 repertory plays directed by Matthias Straub, Friederike Bartel, Matthias Stier a.o..

After this excursion he moved back to Berlin in 2005 and chose to be a freelance actor. Besides many guest engagements including Robert Wilson, Jürgen Kruse, Chantal Yzermans / Radical Low at HAU1 (Berlin), Deutsche Theater Berlin, Sophiensaele (Berlin), Danspaceproject (NYC), Mousonturm Frankfurt, FFT Düsseldorf, Theaterhaus Jena a. o. he found his harbour in the ensemble of unitedOFFproductions.

He is the main artistic collaborator as well as co-producer and BFF of Litsa Kiousi.

Since that´s not complicated enough he decided to work for TV, film and radio plays as well.

 

Sebastian Hilken

was born in 1961 in Bremen and he is a Berlin based musician and composer.
Beginning of the 80´s and after his classical education in Cello, he moved to West-Berlin where he studied Music Ethnology. He is an autodidactic composer, percussionist and double-bass player.
For the past 25 years Sebastian has collaborated with other composers and musicians as well as choreographers, film-, Radio-play-, and theater directors.
He has performed in many festivals in Europe, USA, Japan und China with several bands, theatre-, and dance companies.
Currently he mainly works with Stefan Kaminski, Litsa Kiousi, Sternschuss and Armchairtraveller.
